Live Search and Search Language.

In its current state Live Seach does not seem to support asian language text. I am wondering if this is unsupported or if its just an encoding issue? or is there something else?

Thanks in advance for the help

Hi Mark,

Live Search supports unicode encodings, and works fine with multi-byte characters.
For example, searching with Japanese text:

Are you having an issue with Tafiti application?
If so, it is a current Silverlight's limitation that there's no easy way to display multi-lingual texts (especially there's a font distribution issue).
See the Laurence Moroney's post for the details.

Hope this helps,

Yes i am having the problem with the Tafiti app. I though it was a little strange where the search would bring up accurate results for the keyword, but will not display the font. I will read up this.

Thanks
